Lions Sr. Night Friday

The Lions were already battling hard when they scored the first points in the Friday, Oct. 20 home game against the Comanche Indians. The visitors had already scored 33 points in the second quarter when the Lions were able to advance it to the endzone through a series of downs.

Lady Lions honored in Sr. Night

The Dublin Lady Lions faced the Peaster Greyhounds and Comanche Maidens in games last week as seniors were honored in the final home game of the season. vs. Peaster The Dublin girls went 0, 13 and 3 in sets against Peaster before the Greyhounds claimed the away game.

Lady Cards undefeated, Card Night Nov. 3

The Lingleville Lady Cardinals are leading district 5-0 following a 3-0 defeat of Three Way on Oct. 20 and 3-2 defeat of Bluff Dale on Oct. 17. These wins brought their season record to 15-11 heading into the Tuesday, Oct. 24 game against Iredell.

GOOD. Water stained; 73-75 degrees; 8.38 feet below pool. The lake is turning over and the water is stained. Black bass are good with catches up to 7.37 pounds on jigs, shakey heads, crankbaits and frogs in 2-15 feet of water.

Little Lions undefeated, heading to Super Bowl Saturday

The Dublin Lions 3rd and 4th Grade flag football boys will hit Cervetto Field at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28 following an undefeated season as they play in the youth football Super Bowl. “The boys have worked so hard all season long,” said coach Tyler Stone.
