Lions XC nabs 5th at Hico

The Dublin Lions took 5th place (out of 15 teams) at the Hico invitational cross country meet on Wednesday, Sept. 6. The 8th grade boys also took third place as a team. Individual finishes can be found below.

Ladies go deep against DeLeon

The Dublin Lady Lions fought hard against DeLeon in a four-set away loss. The Lady lions racked up 21 and 17 in the first two sets as the Lady Bearcats scored their 25s. Dublin then fired back, claiming the third set 26-24 before falling 18-25 in the fourth.

Lady Lions battle Bangs

Vs. Bangs The Dublin Lady Lions varsity volleyball girls went four sets deep in their fight against the Bangs Lady Dragons on Tuesday, Aug. 29 at the Roy and Lynn Neff Gym at Dublin Secondary. The pride pounced out of the gate, claiming the first set with 25 over Bangs’ 23.

Lions face Anson in Homecoming

The Dublin Lions are looking for a win as they head into homecoming this Friday (Sept. 8) against the 0-2 Anson Tigers with kick off at 7 p.m. The selection of homecoming queen and presentation of the court will be held on the field at 6:30 p.m. prior to the game.
