Dublin Lion Cameron Patton rushed past Florence Buffalo defense as he carried in an 88-yard touchdown Friday night at Liberty Hill. Patton led in rushing for the Lions that night with 111 yards.

The Dublin Lions had a long trek to Liberty Hill Friday, Sept. 22 as they faced the Florence Buffaloes but the 2hour plus drive paid off with the first win of the season. “We got off to a good start and kept the momentum,” said head Dublin football coach/athletic director Greg Hardcastle.

Paul Gaudette Managing Editor Dublin Secondary School will be hosting 14 schools Saturday, Sept. 30 for the third Annual Harry Bradberry Marching Classic. Entrance fee for the event is $5 for adults and $3 for kids. (Dublin ISD staff get in for free.

GOOD. Water slightly stained; 85-86 degrees; 7.89 feet below pool. Black bass to 5.75 pounds are fair on jigs, shaky heads, crankbaits and frogs in 2-15 feet of water. Crappie are slow in brush piles and around docks on minnows in 12-16 feet of water. White bass are slow to 1.

The Comanche County Healthcare Foundation wants to say a huge thank you for another successful fundraiser this year. They had almost 200 people in attendance and raised just under $70,000 in total to go towards the RapidPakRx medication packaging equipment for the CCMC-CCCHD health system pharmacy.
