Lions end season in Jacksboro

The Dublin Lions ended the 2023 season Friday, Nov. 3 at Jacksboro where they faced the Tigers in a 72-7 loss. The game ended with Dublin’s Francisco Garcia catching a 50 yard pass from Kaden Gaitan for the sole touchdown of the fourth quarter.

Lady Lions kick off season

The Dublin Lady Lions kicked off the 2023-24 season Friday, Nov. 3 when they traveled to Jacksboro to face the Tigers. The game resulted in a 53-18 win for the home team. “We were getting stops on defense, but it wasn’t enough,” said head girls basketball coach Kim Perez.

The Lingleville Lady Cardinals are heading into the Area playoffs Saturday, Nov. 4 following an undefeated district season. They will play Zephyr at 6 p.m. in the Dublin High School Neff Gym. The Lady Cards claimed the title of district champions following a 3-0 win over Iredell Tuesday, Oct. 24.
