8th XC boys get gold

Dublin ISD is sending a cross country runner to Regionals and claimed a championship on the Jr. High level and the 8th grade boys took first place as a team at the district meet on Oct. 11 at Dublin Secondary.

Lady Lions go 4 sets vs Early

Dublin Lady Lions fans were witness to a fierce battle as the team traveled to Early on Oct. 11 to take on the Lady Longhorns. Early claimed the W but not until the teams went four sets deep. Dublin scored 12 and 23 in the first two sets while Early score its 25s.

Lions scrap with Millsap on field

The Dublin Lions fell 49-14 on Friday, Oct. 13 when they traveled to Millsap but head Lions coach/athletic director Greg Hardcastle said the score doesn’t tell the whole story.

Lions finish Badger battle strong

Dublin Lions ended their first district game against the Merkel Badgers Friday, Oct. 6 with a 47-21 loss but a strong fourth quarter showed that Dublin fights until the very end.

Band at Contest Saturday

Lady Cardinals were on a 4-game win streak after claiming a three set victory against Three Way on Friday, Oct. 6 on the Lingleville Court. They were 12-11 for the season and 2-0 in district heading into their game on Tuesday, Oct. 10.

Lady Lions fight Eastland, Eagles

The Dublin Lady Lions took to the court to face the Eastland Mavericks and the Brock Eagles last week in volleyball action. Dublin’s girls scored 7, 6 and 11 in a three-set away game against Eastland Tuesday, Oct. 3. Summer Anderson had 3 assists and 2 digs.
