GRANBURY
GOOD. Water stained; 55-58 degrees; 8.76 feet below pool. Black bass catches to 6.68 pounds are slow on jigs and crankbaits around rocky points and shorelines in 2-8 feet of water. Crappie are slow around the docks on minnows in 9-15 feet of water. White bass are slow on crankbaits and small jigs. Catfish are slow on baited holes.
GOOD. Water lightly stained; 55 degrees; 0.61 feet below pool. Lake Granbury water temperatures are in the middle 50s and falling slowly. Some great sand bass are being caught on many areas of the lake and in the river above Granbury on 10 foot flats adjacent to the deeper water. Striped bass are moving and can be caught from Striper Alley on the lower ends to the bend by the Peninsula. Large yellow and blue catfish are good on cut shad on the upper ends near Hunter Park. Largemouth bass are fair to good with catches up to 6 pounds on a variety of soft plastics worked slowly near main lake points and near laydowns on the upper end. Crappie catches are good on small jigs on the upper ends in the river and structures near Water’s Edge and upstream near Bentwater subdivision.

FAIR. Water clear; 54-58 degrees; 1.65 feet below pool. Striper fishing is great and live bait is still the best method to land catches, but the deadstick bite is slowly picking up. The fish are schooled up but on the move in 30-50 feet of water. Sand bass are fair to good with the best bite on small live shad, but some can be caught using small slabs jigged in or near them.. A good go-to color is white with occasional silver and chartreuse mixed in. Catfish are good on cut shad in 2-15 feet of water. Some can be caught using jug lines on cut shad. Water clarity is steady at 4-10 feet of visibility.

FAIR. Water stained; 60 degrees; 12.86 feet below pool. Target bass on ledges slowly working crankbaits or rattletraps. Catfish can be caught drifting stink bait or cut bait. Hybrid and sand bass are schooling biting slabs. Crappie are hitting minnows and jigs in open water and on brush.
WEATHERFORD
SLOW. Water stained; 55 degrees; 7.41 feet below pool. Bass are slow, fish should move to the creeks soon. Crappie are fair chasing the shad suspending in 10-15 feet of open water biting minnows and jigs. Catfish are slow with a nice size catch in a boat slip, or off the dam rocks with cut shad.
