Lady Lions take W from Whitney

The Lady Lions were heading into District play this week with a fresh 42-38 home victory against Whitney on Tuesday, Dec. 5.

“We had great energy and handled ourselves well,” said head Lady Lions basketball coach Kim Perez. “I’m proud of the effort and hustle we had at home. It was a good win for us!”

Olivia Salyer and Derby Kukla led scoring in the win for Dublin with 13 points each. Kukla also sank 3 of her 4 free throws. Adriana Stewart contributed 6 points while Adriana Rosalez and Emma Vargas scored 5 each.
