A cowboy Christmas is on tap as the Dublin Chamber of Commerce presents its annual Lighted Christmas Parade and a slew of other events Saturday, Dec. 2 in Dublin.

Library grateful for teen volunteers

Editor’s note: Final part in a series about gratitude for the month of November. Many nonprofits would be lost without their volunteers but for the Dublin Public Library that is especially true as they have been undergoing a major renovation project.

Dublin Garden Club to host Tour of Homes

The Dublin Garden Club is hosting The Christmas Tour of Homes again this year and we hope you can join us. It will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10.

Charity gingerbread house contest Revitalize Dublin in conjunction with Grafton Market is hosting a Gingerbread House Charity Competition. First place prize is 50/50 cash and Revitalize Dublin gets 50% of the funds raised.

Ride for Sobriety slated for Sunday

Lilly G Arena Productions is inviting riders to gallop for a good cause as they host a Ride for Sobriety this Sunday. The event slated for Nov. 26, benefiting drug awareness, will begin at Dublin City Park at noon with a sandwich lunch, Riders will disembark at 12:30 p.m.

Toys for tots continues

The local community is being called to help make Christmas merry for local kids as Toys for Tots drop boxes have been put up throughout Dublin and Stephenville. Locals can drop unwrapped toys in the boxes through Dec.

Nov. 6 A person stopped by to drop charges on an individual. A reporting person stopped in the station to get evidence back from a case that is going on. Due to the investigation still going on, they could not get their belongings. An officer checked out with a citizen with car issues.
