Moo-La returns

Stephenville’s annual Moo-La Fest is set for Thursday, June 4 through Saturday, June 6 at Stephenville City Park.The event is free, however, costs are associated with tickets for carnival rides, food and drink.On Thursday, June 4 Moo-La Fest kicks off with Carnival Americana from 4-11 p.m.

Thursday Club finishes ecostudy lessons, elects new officers

The Dublin Woman's Thursday Club spent its March and April meetings finishing up its Ecoregions of Texas 2-year study and electing new officers for the upcoming years.For their March meeting, the club met at the beautiful country home of Leta Sage.

The Carlton Cemetery Association is having its annual meeting at the tabernacle in the cemetery at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 6, with coffee and donuts at 8:30 a.m.The association encourages anyone with relatives or friends buried here to come, have fellowship and to help maintain the cemetery.

Runoffs boast 13% voter turn out in Erath

The following first responder calls were made May 25-May 31. Local first responders handled 64 calls during this time frame and PD completed 10 traffic stops.Dublin PD May 25A person requested information from PD regarding a male that has been following her. A criminal trespass warning was issued.

EDC approves local grants

The Dublin Economic Development Corporation recently took its first step to aid in the funding for the beautification efforts regarding point of entry signs.Laura Gambino, representing the Keep Dublin Beautiful board, addressed the EDC board at its regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday, May 26.

A slew of county business was held at two Commissioner Court meetings over the past two weeks, including land development items and several bids for improvement projects.
