A local 67-year-old male died Monday, Feb. 5 off CR 307 as the result of a medical incident that occurred while he was tending a brush pile.
According to information released by the Erath County Sheriff ’s Department, no criminal offense occurred.
After the accident, an air medical helicopter was launched to the scene but transportation was declined and the victim was transported via ground ambulance to an area hospital.
