Arrest made in offender shooting

A shooting occurred over the weekend in Stephenville when a registered sex offender was shot. According to information released by the Stephenville Police Department, on Sunday, Dec. 3 at 9:46 p.m., SPD was dispatched to an injured male in the 300 block of Morgan Mill Rd.

“She’s top of the top. There’s nobody higher than her.” These were the words Dublin FFA sponsor Derek Dunlap used to describe Vanessa Pantoja after the DHS junior took first place in Sr. Creed Speaking at the state Leadership and Development Event competition this past weekend.
The 2023 Toy Ride heads into Dublin on Patrick Street Saturday, Dec. 2. The ride provided toys and financial support for the Double N Cowboy Church’s Angel Tree.
