Lions face Anson in Homecoming

The Dublin Lions are looking for a win as they head into homecoming this Friday (Sept. 8) against the 0-2 Anson Tigers with kick off at 7 p.m. The selection of homecoming queen and presentation of the court will be held on the field at 6:30 p.m. prior to the game.

BROWNWOOD GOOD. Water slightly stained; 85-86 degrees; 7.44 feet below pool. Black bass to 6.38 pounds are fair on Jigs, shaky heads, swimbaits and glides in 2-15 feet of water early and late in the day. Crappie are slow in brush piles and around the docks on minnows in 10-18 feet of water.

FW foes face Lion fight

It was a welcome sight to Dublin Lions fans when Aidan Hernandez scored the first TD of the 2023 season in the home game against Fort Worth Christian Thursday, Aug. 24. His score came early in the third quarter when he retrieved a fumble made by the Cardinals near the end zone.
