The Community Table at Dublin First Methodist Church is now serving meals in the fellowship hall as well as performing deliveries. The meals are free to the community the last Wednesday of every month, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

June 5 A caller stated there was an older female with a plastic bag in the middle of the 800 block of North Patrick who refused to get out of the road. Officer responded she was no longer there and could not be located. A person called about her mother being missing since that morning.

A delicious fundraiser is on tap Sunday, June 25 in Eastland for Robert “Dion” Fink of Cisco. Fink is preparing to undergo a life-changing kidney transplant and is raising funds to assist with the procedure.

July 4, firework sales approaching

The 1963 Senior Class celebrated their 60 year reunion Saturday, June 10 at the Greens Creek Baptist Church annex with a total of 22 members and their spouses.

Wreck in Eastland kills Dublin man

Antonio Andrade Corral, 50, of Dublin was killed in a car accident Friday, June 16 two miles west of Desdemona. According to information released by the Texas Department of Public Safety, the wreck occurred at 12:20 a.m. on Farm-to-Market 2214, milepost at County Road 431 in a 70 mph zone.
