There was a report of gun shots in the area by City Park in the 200 block of Highland. An officer in the area heard a gun fire off in the distance and went to CR 340 where there were several fields outside the city limits where dove were flying. It was determined someone was dove hunting and the echo from the shots were being heard in town.

An officer responded to a domestic dispute and the parties were separated.

A caller in the 600 block of Ireland had a cat in the engine of her car. Officer made the scene and they got the cat out.

A reporting person thinks an attempted break in may have occurred in the 100 block of Erin due to damage to the door frame area. Nothing was missing and a close patrol is being done on the home.

A reporting person in the 600 block of Ireland wanted to know what she can do about people littering in her yard.

There was a report of two dogs always out and chasing cars on Highland/Blackjack. Call was referred to Animal Control.

A caller needed to report that her dog was stolen and she has witnesses.

Sept. 6

A reporting person came by station to speak to an officer about a civil matter at Shamrock Apartments and for a civil standby.

A person came by station to report credit card fraud.

There was a report of two dogs running loose, chewing things up in reporting person’s yard in the 500 block of East Liveoak. She advised they are always loose. Officer went to the area to locate the dogs but they were not found.

A caller at Allsup’s stated that a red truck hit a guard rail and headed into Dublin with damage to the front of the vehicle visible. The caller advised the driver appeared to be intoxicated or under the influence. Officers located the vehicle at Sonic and made contact with the driver who admitted to hitting something and consuming alcohol. Officer performed field sobriety tests. Megan Gray was placed under arrest for DWI and resisting.

Sept. 7

There was a report of a dog out that has previously bit the caller before on South Patrick and CR 339. Officer located the dog at a residence and the call was referred to animal control.

A reporting person advised she was taking a shower in the 200 block of Hawk Street and saw someone peeping in her window at her. Officer made scene and did not locate anyone around. Caller spoke with officer and gave a description.

A reporting person advised a grey pit bull tried to attack her in the 300 block of South Camden and that it has happened before. Officer spoke with the owners of the dog and they received a warning.

A called advised there are dogs that are always out and chasing cars on Highland/ Blackjack and the owner received a warning for the dogs being at large.

Sept. 8

A person came in the station to report a package that was stolen from his porch in the 600 block of Hurt Street.

Sept. 9

There was a report of a disturbance when a child called about their parents fighting.

A reporting person advised that she left to go to Stephenville and she came back and her trash cans were gone from the 500 block of East Dobkins.
