Water Aerobic classes set

Weekly water aerobic classes are now being held at the City of Dublin Public Pool. Classes are being held Wednesdays and Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. or 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Classes are $5 per class or $35 a month. For more information call Dani Dunbar at 405-496-7674. Classes are through Aug. 5.

Rodeo Museum preps for 20th

Volunteers are sprucing up the Dublin Rodeo Heritage Museum early in preparations for a big 20th anniversary celebration planned September 2. The event will have plenty to draw guests downtown with a BBQ lunch, a parade, branding iron ceremony and much more.

Sales tax down again, following state trends

Dublin sales tax collections were down in April, at -9.11% lower compared to April 2022, according to the state sales tax report released by Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar this month. For the month of April 2023, Dublin received $43,075.90, compared to $47,395.43 in April 2022.

Police Log

May 29 A caller reported loud music and as soon as the officer left the music was turned back up. The officer went to speak with the residence’s owner and they turned the music off. A reporting person advised there was a man, possibly drunk, trying to open her door in the 200 block of Bryan.
