The Dublin Lions 3rd and 4th Grade flag football boys will hit Cervetto Field at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28 following an undefeated season as they play in the youth football Super Bowl.
“The boys have worked so hard all season long,” said coach Tyler Stone. “We have put in three solid practices a week since the beginning and it shows. We look forward to continuing our Rivalry with Hico as we play against them in the Super Bowl. Being able to coach my son and watch him and his teammates grow and succeed means so much to me. These are memories he and I will have with his team forever.”
Fellow coach Ty Weaver echoed his pride in all of their players.
“These boys have grown so much and have worked so hard at every practice,” Weaver said. “You get out what you put in, and they give it all they have. What a privilege it has been to be able to work with these boys this year. Thank you to [Dublin Youth Football League] and especially thank you to their parents for your support and allowing us to push these boys to new heights! Let’s go get one more!”
