The Lingleville Lady Cardinals are leading district 5-0 following a 3-0 defeat of Three Way on Oct. 20 and 3-2 defeat of Bluff Dale on Oct. 17.
These wins brought their season record to 15-11 heading into the Tuesday, Oct. 24 game against Iredell.
The Cardinals varsity football team moved to 2-6 for the season following a 61-0 loss to Baird. They will travel to Perrin-Whitt on Thursday, Oct. 26 to play at 7:30 p.m. following the Jr. High game.
The Cards will return home on Friday, Nov. 3 for the rescheduled Cardinal Night festivities. A community pep rally will start at 5:30 p.m. followed by tailgating at 6 p.m. and the game against Gorman at 7:30 p.m.
