Lady Lions honored in Sr. Night

The Dublin Lady Lions faced the Peaster Greyhounds and Comanche Maidens in games last week as seniors were honored in the final home game of the season.

vs. Peaster

The Dublin girls went 0, 13 and 3 in sets against Peaster before the Greyhounds claimed the away game.

Summer Anderson had 4 assists, 4 digs and an ace.

Paige Wilson scored 5 digs.

Jaclyn Gibson snagged 3 kills and 2 blocks.

Yasmin Esparza contributed 2 digs.

Ingrid Hernandez secured a kill and a block.

vs. Comanche

The Lady Lions returned home on Friday, Oct. 20 where they scored 18, 16 and 23 against Comanche’s 25s. The game was preceded with senior night as Jaclyn Gibson, Chloey Rollins, Madison Turley and Paige Wilson were escorted on the court by family and friends before being presented with special gifts by teammates and coaches.

Wilson led the game in digs with 12 and had a kill.

Anderson led Dublin in assists with 10 and had 6 digs and 2 aces.

Gibson scored 6 kills and had 2 blocks.

Hernandez scored 4 kills, 2 digs and an ace.

Esparza put in 3 digs.

Olivia Salyer snagged 3 kills.

Rollins secured 2 aces.

Turley had 2 kills. Derby Kukla had 2 digs.

Velasquez scored an ace.
