Lingleville Cardinals and Lady Cardinals were led across the court by family on Friday, Feb. 9 as senior players were honored during senior night and presented with flowers and gift baskets. Those recognized included: Fernando Moreno, Brena Gage, Mia Martinez, Kaitlyn Gordon and Kyndall Hurt.

Dublin Lions face close fight

looking for redemption in their final game on Tuesday, Feb. 13 against Early following a 110-37 home loss against Brock Friday, Feb. 9. This followed a much closer competition against Eastland on Tuesday, Feb. 6 as Dublin put up 62 to their opponent’s 75.

The Lady Lions went into combat with Comanche Friday, Feb. 2 for their final home game of the season. The 72-29 score in the Maidens’ favor doesn’t convey the fight Dublin showed on the court, according to Dublin Lady Lions head basketball coach Kim Perez.

Lions show poise under pressure

Dublin Lions Head Basketball coach Wes Grisham praised the poise of his boys during the 78-43 home loss to Comanche Friday, Feb. 2. The Lions faced a fierce fight from the first play but kept within an arm’s reach of the competition through the first half.
