Lady Lions clash in Clyde

The Dublin Lady Lions softball team played in the Clyde tournament last week and although they weren’t able to secure a win, they were able to work on key parts of the game as they start their season. They ended strong in a narrow 8-7 loss to TLCA of San Angelo.

Lady Cardinals end season in playoff bid

Mere minutes decided the end of the Lady Cardinals’ Bi-District playoff bid against Meridian at Dublin on Tuesday, Feb. 13. As the team rounded into the fourth quarter, the Lady Cards playing as home team, were up 20-19.

Lingleville lifters place high

The Lingleville Lady Cardinal powerlifting team took fifth place at the DeLeon Invitational meet Thursday, Feb. 15.

Lady Lions starting season

The Dublin Lady Lions are sliding into the season after facing Tolar in a Feb. 2 away scrimmage and DeLeon in a Feb. 9 scrimmage on the home diamond. “The girls are learning a lot and are improving every day,” said head Lady Lions softball coach Vanessa Longoria.
