GOOD. Water stained; 60 degrees; 8.68 feet below pool. Black bass to 12.49 pounds are good on jerkbaits, chatterbaits and crankbaits in 3-8 feet. Bass are in a prespawn and starting to get on beds. Crappie are fair using minnows on brush piles in 6-10 feet and starting to move shallow. White bass are good on crankbaits. Catfish are good on cut or prepared bait around baited holes..

FAIR. Water clear; 62 degrees; 0.14 feet below pool. Lake Granbury is full after the recent rainfall, watch for floating debris. The Golden Alga that was present seems to have disappeared. Black bass, crappie and sand bass continue to be reported as fair to good on the upper ends of Granbury near the Farm-to-Market 51 bridge and near Tin Top. Many of the largemouth bass and crappies are moving towards the back of sloughs especially on those warmer afternoons. Striped bass have been slow with sporadic catches reported from Decordova to the dam using slabs and live bait.

POSSUM KINGDOM

FAIR. Water clear; 58 degrees; 0.27 feet below pool. Striped bass are good casting swimbaits and Alabama rigs at the shore. Some can be caught trolling with live shad in 5-40 feet of water. Some can also be caught using live bait in the river channel. The fish are scattered but can be caught. Sand bass are fair to good using small slabs and small jigs, but some can be caught using small live bait also. Your best bet is to use small jigs or swim baits casted at the shore in shallow water in 2-10 feet of water. Catfish are great in 1-10 feet of water using cut shad. Water clarity is steady at 2-8 feet of visibility.

PROCTOR

GOOD. Water normal stain; 58 degrees; 12.87 feet below pool. Largemouth bass bite are improving for bank anglers using a purple pinkish colored soft plastic Texas rigged. Bank anglers are reporting a good bite for crappie and catfish. Ramps are closed. It is possible to launch a boat from the gravel at Buffalo Springs.

WEATHERFORD

FAIR. Water heavily stained; 60 degrees; 6.43 feet below pool. Crappie are pushing shallow with some still biting minnows and jigs in the crappie house. Bass are slow with a few shallow on beds hitting spinnerbaits. Catfish are slow on the main lake with cut bait.

WHITNEY

FAIR. Water slightly stained; 59 degrees; 1.08 feet above pool. Fishing continues to be excellent for large catfish in shallow water 2-6 feet using cut drum or shad. Striped bass are fair to slow using live bait and jigs. Crappie continue to be fair on small jigs and minnows fished near deeper structure. White bass are good up the creeks in shallow waters. Largemouth bass continue to be fair along structures and docks.
