Mere minutes decided the end of the Lady Cardinals’ Bi-District playoff bid against Meridian at Dublin on Tuesday, Feb. 13. As the team rounded into the fourth quarter, the Lady Cards playing as home team, were up 20-19.

The Dublin Lady Lions ended the 2023-24 basketball season with a push against the Eastland Mavericks on Feb. 6 which ended in a 59-28 win for Eastland. “We did some great things against Eastland in the first half,” said had Lady Lions basketball coach Kim Perez. “We had some intensity and hustle!

Dublin Dandi-Lions got to ring the victory bell recently after claiming multiple awards during a Feb. 3 competition in Burleson. They received best in class in the following categories: Lyrical, pom and kick routine. They also received platinum awards for kick and pom as well as a gold award for lyrical routine. The Dublin Lady Lions are sliding into the season after facing Tolar in a Feb. 2 away scrimmage and DeLeon in a Feb. 9 scrimmage on the home diamond. “The girls are learning a lot and are improving every day,” said head Lady Lions softball coach Vanessa Longoria.
