New EMS building showcases space, living quarters; open house soon

Dublin EMS crew members are exceptionally happy this week as they have officially gotten to move into their brand new home.

Library fundraisers underway

The Dublin Public Library is hosting a couple of fundraisers this fall including “Tell Your Spooky Story” and “Tiny Art Showcase.” With “Tell Your Spooky Story” businesses and individuals are invited to pick a favorite creepy classic and create an outdoor display in honor of it.

Festival in town this weekend

A crowd is expected this weekend as Dublin’s annual Hispanic Heritage Festival hosted by the Dublin Chamber of Commerce will be held Friday, Sept. 29 and Saturday, Sept. 30. The event will kick off with a free outdoor movie event at 7:30 p.m. on the Dublin Public Library lawn.

Voter registration deadline Oct. 10

The deadline is quickly approaching for those wanting to make sure they are registered to vote in the Nov. 7 Constitutional Amendment Election. Texas law requires eligible voters to register by the 30th day before Election Day. The voter registration deadline for the Nov. 7 Election is Oct. 10.

Community comes together to Revitalize Dublin

Thirty members of the Dublin community gathered at 354 W. Blackjack Saturday, Sept. 23 for the first volunteer project of Revitalize Dublin, an organization striving for beautifying Dublin and consistent code enforcement within the city limits.
