Body

A bicycle was parked in front of the Dublin ISD Administration building with no one around. Officer entered the description, just in case someone lost one.

An officer was patrolling the area of West Liveoak when he saw two males run behind a vacant house. Officer searched the area on foot, but did not locate the subjects. He also checked the house and nothing appeared to be damaged. A close patrol was conducted throughout the night.

A person came into the station to report identity theft.

A reporting person came to the station in reference to a hit and run that occurred in Stephenville. Officer advised them they would have to make the report with SPD.

A reporting person was with Oncor and there was a vehicle that hit the power pole, then left the scene. They had vehicle identifiers from a witness. Officer spoke with the reporting party and went to the address that the vehicle returned to and got information.

A verbal domestic disturbance was reported and parties agreed to separate for the night.

A dad requested a criminal trespass on his minor son after he tried to break into his dad’s vehicle.

A verbal domestic disturbance between family members was reported and parties were separated into different locations for the evening.

Dec. 6

A reporting person advised there was a lady at her house in the 600 block of Grafton that seemed lost and disoriented. Officer made the scene and the female did not know where she was. Husband then made the scene to take her back home, he advised she has dementia/Alzheimers and left the house while he was at work.

A reporting person in the 200 block of West Liveoak had a ring camera video of a man stealing their cooler. Officer was able to identify the subject and located him. The subject admitted stealing the cooler but he was going to clean it and return it when the owner got home. The male subject was issued a criminal trespass at the owners request.

There were reports of loud noises coming from an apartment, slamming doors and possibly throwing things around. Officer made scene to speak to the neighbor and she advised she did not hear anything.

Dec. 7

A reporting person stated that an aircraft flying at 6,000 feet reporting seeing a green lazer light directed at them about 2 miles from the airport. Officer checked the area and did not locate any suspicious activity.

There was a report of a shepherd dog that was chained to a tree outside the fence, not moving. Officer checked on the dog, he was not chained, he had a cable run, shelter, food and water bowls and was OK.

A reporting party requested to speak with an officer about a domestic dispute. They later reported they were trying to work it out.

After an alleged physical altercation, Rose Baker was arrested for public intoxication and assault by contact.

Dec. 8

A welfare check was done on a neighbor after going to the hospital for a mental illness.

Dec. 9

A reporting person advised her cat went into a hole in the bathroom and got stuck and needed help to get out. Officer went to the residence and got the cat out. Everything was OK.

Dec. 10

A reporting party at the hospital has a patient that stated a family friend’s dog bit her.

A reporting party in the 700 block of North Camden heard possible gun shot in the area and a second caller heard fire crackers in the area near the old football field. Officer went to the area and did not hear or locate any fire crackers or gun shots.
