Ladies defeat DeLeon, Bangs

Paul Gaudette The Dublin Lady Lions closed out the competition in an away game at Bangs Aug. 30 and at home Saturday morning against DeLeon. The ladies set the Lady Bearcats in three Saturday after doing the same to the Lady Dragons in a nail-biter at Bangs.

Cards 2-0 for preseason

The Lingleville Cardinal are 2-0 for the preseason as they host their first home game Friday night when they take on Kopperl at 7:30 p.m. On Friday, The Cardinals bested the Northside Indians 56-6. Izzy Juarez led in rushing and receiving with 101 and 97 yards respectively.

Lions open season in FW

The Dublin Lions faced a fierce foe in Fort Worth Christian Friday as they opened preseason play. “We had a lot of young guys in their first varsity game,” said Head Football Coach/Athletic Director Greg Hardcastle. “We didn’t play as well as we wanted, and they were a very good team.

Enrollment open for Dand-Lions Mini Dance Clinic

Enrollment is open for Dublin students in kindergarten to 6th grade to be a Dandi-Lion for a day! Kids will get to practice alongside the drill team and sponsors on Sept. 15 from 4:45 p.m. to 7 p.m. before performing with them on Friday, Sept. 16 before the football game.
