Tarleton Men’s XC ranked for first time as D1

Tarleton men’s cross country earned an honor that no Texan cross country team had yet seen in the Division 1 era on Monday. Tarleton slotted in at No. 12 in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA D1 men’s regional rankings.

JV girls beat Eastland

Dublin JV Lady Lions leap at the net to block the ball during the Oct. 4 home games against Eastland. Both JV gold and green teams claimed victory against the Lady Mavericks.

Cards at 4-2 after opener

Lingleville Cardinal fans were privy to a fierce battle Friday night as the Cards host the Bryson Cowboys for their district opener. Despite several Cardinals hitting the sidelines to tend to injuries, the home team stayed in the game until the very end, falling in a narrow 48-46 defeat.

Lady Lions fight Bucks, Indians

The Dublin Lady Lions moved to 1-7 in district after scrapping with Comanche and Breckenridge last week. Comanche The week began with a five-set nailbiter home game against Comanche.

Lions start district Friday

The 2-3 Dublin Lions taking to the road Friday night as they the 1-4 Merkel Badgers at 7:30 p.m. in the first district game of the season.

Tarleton announces women’s basketball schedule

After a successful 2021-22 campaign, the Tarleton women’s basketball team will look to keep momentum going this upcoming season, as the Texans announced their 2022-23 schedule on Thursday. The Texans will play 29 regular season games this upcoming year, beginning Nov.
