DISD, Tarleton sign agreement

Dublin High School students will have a leg up into Tarleton State University thanks to a new agreement between the university and the school district.

Hill honored for heroics

The actions of Erath County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Chris Hill made all the difference in the world to Erath County residents Jimmie and Carolyn Green, who were saved from their burning home by the deputy. Sgt.

A wide group of friends, family, faculty and prominent guests joined outside the Tarleton State University College of Engineering to recognize the life and career of an accomplished alum as the building became the first college named after an individual – the Mayfield College of Engineering. Dr.

The local community is invited to gather in support of those hurt by violence during a Stop the Silence Rally on Thursday, April 13 at 6 p.m. around the Erath County Courthouse in downtown Stephenville.

There was a report of three dogs coming in and out of a house in the 800 block of Preston with a door being wide open. An officer made scene and tried to make contact with the owner but they were not home. The officer secured the door and was going to follow up with the owner.
