Dublin High School was recently the recipient of a $500 grant from Carter Blood Care. Schools who hosted at least three blood drives per year are eligible for the grant and the money can be used for scholarships or other needs the district may have.

Tarleton hosting womens’ self defense course

The Tarleton State University Police Department is offering a self-defense course designed specifically for women. The instructors, Sgt. Amanda Miller and Officer Doug Johnson, will emphasize education and awareness, prevention, risk reduction and avoidance.
