Dublin FFA is sending five teams to area following several big finishes at the Pecan Valley FFA District Leadership Development Events at Weatherford High School last week.
For the second year in a row, Vanessa Pantoja was named District Champion in the Sr. Spanish Creed Speaking contest.
Emily Barrera got second place in the Greenhand Spanish Creed event.
Also receiving silver medal was the Greenhand Skills team of Daniella DeLeon, Kimberly Sevilla and Jena Sorrels.
Another second place finish went to the Senior Chapter Conducting team of NavaLee White, Paige Wilson, Mariana Ortiz, Jaclyn Gibson, Bailey Watson, Jake Southall, & Frida Villicana.
The Ag Advocacy team of Vanessa Pantoja, Ariana Solano, Abigail Rojas and Anabel Phelps also claimed a second place finish.
All the above teams were set to compete in the Area IV Leadership Development Events on Monday, Nov. 20 in Abilene.
Also placing high for Dublin were: Greenhand Quiz - 3rd & 4th Place, Dominic Dominguez - 3rd, Joselyn Perez - 9th, Colbyn Wiley - 10th, Daniel Staud, Jayden Rojas, Cayson Loving, Ethan Whitaker, & Jena Sorrells!
