What a miserable summer we have had, it has really been too hot to do much walking or outside exercise. With September just around the corner, we can hope for cooler temperatures maybe by the middle of the month. At the very least the evenings and mornings will be much nicer.

Remains to be ID’ed

Human remains were found Friday, Aug. 12 in Erath County and preliminary investigations indicate they are likely the remains of Sharla Shaffer, a woman that has been missing for two weeks. On Friday, at 9 a.m.
