SLOW. Water slightly stained; 73-76 degrees; 7.72 feet low. Bass are excellent to 8.32 pounds using topwater lures early and late in 1-5 feet of water on flats, and square bill crankbaits, shaky heads, and glide baits around docks with brush out to 10 feet of water. Crappie to 1.25 pounds are slow on minnows and jigs suspended under docks, and jigs working best on brush piles. White bass are excellent on crankbaits and jigs under the lights around lake flats. Catfish are poor.
FAIR. Water lightly stained; 80 degrees; 2.41 feet low. Striped bass and white bass are good with quality fish being caught in 10-25 feet of water Mid lake to Striper Alley. Drifting flats with live shad has worked well along with trolling white and chartreuse umbrella-rigs. GOOD. Water lightly stained; 76 degrees; 4.45 feet low. Striper fishing is slow with fish scattered. Live shad and trolling with white, chartreuse, or yellow jigs is producing a few fish. Sand bass are also slow. Jigs, slabs, and spoons are producing a few fish. White,and gold are good colors. Catfish are good on cut shad suspended off the bottom in 8-10 feet of water, or in 35 feet of water. Water clarity is holding steady at 3-6 feet visibility. Report by TJ Ranft, Ranft Guide Service.

SLOW. Water stained; 74 degrees; 8.47 feet low. Crappie are poor. White bass are fair. Hybrid striped bass are fair to 14 pounds on Cordell half ounce slabs. Black bass are poor. Catfish are poor.
WEATHERFORD
SLOW. Water lightly stained; 74 degrees; 7.30 feet low. Crappie fishing is good on main lake on brush piles with live minnows. Catfish are good off rocks near the dam with cut bait. White bass are slow on slabs. Bass are slow showing up shallow biting topwaters and crankbaits.
WHITNEY
GOOD. Water lightly stained; 79 degrees; 7.47 feet low. Striped bass are good throughout the reservoir in 12-40 feet of water trolling umbrella-rigs with white or chartreuse grub tails or swimbaits attached. Live minnows will work as well, but fresh live shad is still prefered. Topwater lures work as well if you can find them schooling, but the stripers do not stay up long and are moving fast.
