The Lions went toe to toe in narrow losses to Millsap and Breckenridge last week. The decision in the Dublin-Millsap game came down to the final seconds as they went into overtime and Millsap got ahead by 1 with a 3-pointer.

Lions face foes in Holiday Classic

The Dublin Lions faced adversaries from the area and out of state during the Brownwood Holiday Classic Dec. 27-29. The Lions started the tournament by facing New York’s Maine Endwell, in which the out-of-state visitors won 90- 51.

Lady Lions scrap in tourney

The Dublin Lady Lions returned to the court Dec. 27- 29 for the Brownwood Holiday Classic Tournament, gaining practice as they returned to the regular season this week. Their first game following the 5-day Christmas break was against Goldthwaite who claimed the win 69-29.

GOOD. Water stained; 53-56 degrees; 8.73 feet below pool. Black bass are good with catches up to 7.39 pounds caught by suspending jerkbaits in 12-15 feet of water and crankbaits around the shoreline in 2-8 feet of water.
