The Dublin Lady Lions are sliding into the season after facing Tolar in a Feb. 2 away scrimmage and DeLeon in a Feb. 9 scrimmage on the home diamond.

“The girls are learning a lot and are improving every day,” said head Lady Lions softball coach Vanessa Longoria. “We finally have everyone and I’m excited to see what this group of girls can do this season.”

The coach reported she can already see a lot of potential for this season just from the scrimmage play.

“I’m very excited to see them grow even more as the season goes on,” she added.

The Lady Lions have a lot of opportunity for experience as they play in the Clyde Softball Tournament Feb. 15-17.
