Lions start district with W

The Dublin Lions opened the district schedule with a nailbiter 26-21 victory over the Comanche Indians at the Comanche stadium. Although the Indian went into the game with an 0-5 preseason record, Lions Head Coach Greg Hardcastle knew they would be facing a fight.

The Dublin Youth Football League continued its season this weekend with a full schedule of flag football fun at the Dublin Memorial Stadium. A special uniform change was made for the teammates of Prezley who wore shirts reading “Prezley’s Team” in remembrance of her.
