The Dublin Youth Football League continued its season this weekend with a full schedule of flag football fun at the Dublin Memorial Stadium. A special uniform change was made for the teammates of Prezley who wore shirts reading “Prezley’s Team” in remembrance of her.

Tarleton hosting jazz concert tonight

The first Tarleton State University jazz concert of the semester is set for 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, in the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center auditorium in Stephenville. Admission is $5 or free with a Tarleton ID.

Lions start district in Comanche

The Dublin Lions are returning from a bye week to face the Comanche Indians in their first game of the district schedule. The Lions will face their opponents at 7 p.m. Friday in Comanche.

Lady Lions split wins

The Dublin Lady Lions were 12-8 for the season and 4-3 in district play after splitting wins last week. On Sept. 28, the Lady Lions traveled to Peaster where they faced a three set loss to the Greyhounds. Dublin scored 11, 12 and 14 to Peaster’s 25 points in each set.
