The Dublin Lions were flying high heading into Tuesday’s game against the Millsap Bulldogs after a pair of exciting wins.
The 7-7 Lions hit the road for that game following a fierce Friday home victory, where they beat the Eastland Mavericks 74-65.
The home victory followed an even bigger fight as Dublin stole an 80-77 win from the Comanche Indians in double overtime on Jan. 4. “It was a wild night with a roller coaster of emotions the entire game,” said Lions Head Coach Wes Grisham of the away victory. “[The] kids stayed strong and remembered our training. It’s what won us the game in the end.”
The Lions return home to face Early in the home gym at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
