Lady Lions start district

The Dublin Lady Lions (pictures at a recent home game) started district play at Brock Tuesday night and will return home Friday at 6:15 to play Bangs.

Dublin School Board President Jeff Weaver stepped down during a regular Monday night meeting addressing several staff positions. Weaver reportedly stepped down so that his wife, Lisa Weaver, could accept a position teaching junior high art.

Tourney fills DHS gyms

Dublin Secondary gyms were filled Thursday through Saturday for a successful Dublin Athletic Booster Club Basketball tournament with more than 10 schools traveling in to compete in the JV and varsity brackets.
