SLOW. Water stained; 53 degrees; 8.35 feet below pool. Black bass to 5 pounds are good on Alabama rigs and jigs in 6-12 feet of water. Crappie are fair starting to stage for the spawn near the mouth of the creeks in 5-10 feet of water. White bass are slow. Catfish are slow.

Cooper Pickett is looking forward to his future of playing football for the Southwestern University Pirates in Georgetown.
On Wednesday, Feb. 8, Pickett signed to play football as an offensive line guard, complete with $48,000 in scholarships and grants for academic excellence.

Kickball tourney set for March

A kickball tournament will be held March 3-4 at Dublin City Park.
Thetournamentispresented by the Dublin Baseball and Softball Association. There is an 8 player minimum with a maximum of 12 players.
The tournament is for ages 12 and up and costs $25 per person.
Registration deadline is Feb. 24.
