Lions take silver in tourney

Dublin Boys claimed silver in the tournament hosted at Dublin last week. With two big wins over Clifton Thursday (81-67) and Brownwood Friday (82-69), the Lions made their appearance at the championship game against Tolar where they fell 63-32.

FISHING REPORT

BROWNWOOD SLOW. Water slightly stained; 55-57 degrees; 7.91 feet low. Bass are good to four pounds in 8-10 feet of water on underspins and squarebills in between docks and along the shoreline. Crappie are slow on minnows in brush piles. White bass are slow on jigs.

Lady Lions scrap in Tolar, claim home win

The Dublin Lady Lions were narrowly edged out in Tolar and claimed another W in games on Nov. 22 and Nov. 28 respectively. Vs. Tolar Dublin fell short in 45-43 away game Nov. 22 against the Tolar Lady Rattlers.

Dublin Lions split losses at home

The Dublin Lions split losses in games at home last week and Monday night (Nov. 28). Vs. Lingleville On Nov. 22, the Lions hosted the Lingleville Cardinals in a 73-64 victory for the home team.

Boys blast through Brownwood

The Dublin Lions wowed home fans Nov. 15 as they roared past the Brownwood Lions 103-58 in the Roy and Lynn Neff Gym at Dublin Secondary. “Our Varsity guys had a solid game with our up tempo offense/defense versus Brownwood,” said Head Dublin Boys Basketball Coach Wes Grisham.

Cards take runner-up trophy at Perrin

The Lingleville Cardinals took the runner-up trophy at the Perrin-Whitt tournament last week when they fell to the Perrin-Whitt Pirates.
