U.S. Representative Roger Williams, Republican, recently took the time to sit down with the Dublin Citizen and shared a bit about himself after winning the election for Texas District 25.

Citizen closed for holiday

The Dublin Citizen will be closed Thursday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday and will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28. The Citizen staff hopes everyone has a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

Rodeo legacies honored at event

The Dublin Rodeo Heritage Museum Association held its 2022 Rodeo Heritage Museum benefit Saturday, Nov. 19 at the Dublin High School. The event featured a dinner, live and silent auction, a raffle and a showcase of rodeo honorees.

Thankful for a volunteering spirit

A spirit of thankfulness is in the air and that extends to volunteers, which play a huge role in the Dublin community. One special volunteer is Gwen Osman, otherwise known as Mama Whoo at Christian Women’s Job Corps- Transformation Pathways in downtown Dublin.

DISD files suit on staff’s behalf

After numerous frustrated phone calls and problems, the Dublin ISD School Board authorized Underwood Law Firm to file a lawsuit on its behalf against U.S. Employee Benefits Services Group.
