Jan. 9

A reporting person in the 500 block of South Patrick stated that the neighbor threw rocks at his building while he was playing music the previous day. Officer spoke with both parties and they were advised to call the PD if there were issues in the future.

A reporting person stopped in the station to speak with an officer about another student that hit her daughter at school.

An assault occurred at the Re-lax Inn.

A reporting person from Stephenville Hospital stated a small child was in for a dog bite.

Jan. 10

A caller requested to speak with an officer about his case and had questions about his bond. Reporting person was referred to his bondsman and the jail.

A caller needs a criminal trespass from an office building due to ongoing issues.

Jan. 11

Code enforcement needed officer assistance for code violation.

There was a bale of hay in the roadway on 277/S. 219. Officer is waiting on an individual to come back with a truck to re-move the bale.

A reporting person advised there is a female in the lobby at the bank in the 800 block of North Patrick and she refused to leave.

A dark colored Tahoe was swerving all over the road coming into town from Allsup’s. Vehicle was not located.

A caller stated their daughter just got home and the neighbor’s dog was in their yard, daughter is afraid to leave. Officer made contact with the owner and the dog broke the line. Owner secured the dog and received a warning for dog at large.

A theft occurred at Dollar General. Suspect was no longer on scene but they had video. Two criminal trespasses were served for the individuals at Dollar General for items taken.

Jan. 12

A caller advised there was a man near the railroad tracks tearing up rubber. Officers checked the area and did not locate anyone.

Jan. 13

There was a report in the 600 block of Lacey of someone on someone else’s property with a flashlight.

A caller was concerned for his mother since he could not reach her or find her. Officer made contact with the mom, she was gardening in the backyard.

A caller advised there was a dog tied up to something out-side a neighbor’s house and he would not stop barking. Officers checked on the dog and it has food, water and shelter but the owners were not home. Animal control was informed the next day.

There was a report of a male subject in a grey pickup who tried to get into a neighbor’s house in the 600 block of Lacey. Officers checked the property and did not observe any open doors, windows or people. Officers will keep a close patrol in the area.

Jan. 14

A caller asked to speak with an officer about a criminal trespass after being harassed by her ex.

A caller requested to speak with an officer by home about a criminal trespass that needed to be signed. The criminal trespass was served and the subject was no longer allowed to be at Dollar General.

A caller has a criminal trespass on her ex and she saw him drive down her road multiple times. Officers didn’t locate the vehicle but are keeping a close patrol in the area.

Jan. 15

A suspicious vehicle was sitting across the road in the 500 block of East Sheridan with lights on for several hours at a vacant house. An officer made contact with two juveniles around 2:30 a.m. One of the juveniles was picked up for a relative and the other was transported home due to being out after curfew, both received curfew citations.
