Dublin One Act Play advances to Bi-District

Dublin One Act Play will be performing “A Monster Calls” in Bi-District competition in Graham on Saturday, March 10 after strong finishes in Zone and District competition. The Dublin cast and crew claimed first place at Zone Feb. 28 with Early coming in second and Eastland third.

| submitted photo Dublin FFA started the Career and Leadership Development Event season with success. The Cotton team of Maryli Garcia, Bailey Watson, Joli St. Germain, Skyler Morones and Derek Ivey won their event with Watson placing third and Morones placing 5th as individuals.

BROWNWOOD SLOW. Water stained; 49-55 degrees; 8.42 feet below pool. Black bass to six pounds are good on Alabama rigs and jigs in 6-12 feet of water. Crappie fair toward the mouth of the creeks in 5-10 feet starting to stage for the spawn. White bass are slow. Catfish are slow GRANBURY FAIR.

Knights continue Fish Fry

The Stephenville Knights of Columbus continue their Lenten Fish Fry, on Friday at Newman Hall. The weekly event will run from 5:00-7-00 p.m. Fridays thru March 31st. The meal will consist of fish, coleslaw, hushpuppies, french fries, tea, and dessert. Prices this year are $15 for all orders.
