Dublin’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebration this year was one of its liveliest with downtown businesses and restaurants seeing increased activity starting Thursday and carrying through the weekend.

Church auctioning Dublin art for renovations

Calvary Fellowship Church (604 N. Patrick) is hosting a silent auction this Saturday (March 18) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to benefit the church in much-needed renovations.

New boutique balances pizzazz, western flair

A new boutique downtown is welcoming customers with open arms and currently with a wide range of shamrock inspired clothing to welcome in St. Patrick’s Day. The Bohemian Ranch boutique, owned by Larissa Lewis, is now open on Blackjack Street in downtown Dublin.

There was a report of an older female digging through a dumpster at Family Dollar, female advised that she was grabbing all of the valentine’s stuff. An agency assist was requested for a red Camaro shooting into the air on 219/377 Loop. Deputies located the vehicle and assistance was not needed.

Commissioners Court receives positive audit review

During a brief commissioner’s court meeting Monday, March 13, Erath County received good news on its 2021 audit, while tackling a slew of other agenda items. A representative from Boucher, Morgan and Young presented the county’s 2021 audit, which ended with the date Sept. 30, 2021.

Dublin Garden Club

The Dublin Garden Club held their regular March meeting Wednesday, March 8. Guest speaker was Pam Bils, owner of Dublin Florist Shop. Pam made a beautiful flower arrangement with seasonal flowers. She explained which flowers are in season throughout the year.

Hamilton to offer native, perennial plant fair

Hosted by the Agrilife Hamilton Master Gardeners, the sale will be at the County Annex at the corner of West Henry and North Rice Street (104 N. Rice Street) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. or earlier if sold out March 24-25.
