Those excited for the upcoming holidays may want to check out the 2nd annual Taste of the Holidays set for 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15 at Grafton Market. The event will showcase a wide variety of holiday foods and desserts just in time to get orders in for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Several Halloween events are on the horizon as spooky season has officially commenced. The Dublin Chamber of Commerce’s annual Safe Trick-or-Treat will be held Tuesday, Oct. 31 starting at 5 p.m. in the downtown area. Businesses will be handing out all kinds of treats.

Court talks contracts

Amidst a slew of agenda items, Erath County Commissioners moved swiftly through their meeting Tuesday, Oct. 10. The meeting was moved to Tuesday due to county offices being closed for Indigenous Peoples’ Day/ Columbus Day.
