Chambers offer women in business summit

The Dublin and Comanche Chambers of Commerce are joining to host Professional Business Women of Central Texas Women Empowering Women Summit from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17 at Dove Creek Ranch (5470 Co Rd 351, Dublin).

While driving throughout downtown Dublin, citizens may spot a bunch of purple ribbons tied on bushes at the Corner Lot.

EDC approves grants

The Dublin Economic Development Corporation recently approved a slew of grants for business improvements at its Tuesday, Sept. 26 meeting.

Court talks bids

A slew of bids for upcoming projects were opened and discussed at the Sept. 27 Erath County Commissioners Court meeting. The court unveiled a single sealed bid for technology upgrades to the justice center at a cost of about $104,000 from Justice AV Solutions, Inc.
