Senior Lions top 1,000 career points

Two Dublin Lion seniors reached a milestone during the Jan. 22 home victory over Millsap in a game rescheduled from Jan. 23 due to the winter weather predictions over the weekend.Alex Teten and Hunter Jones (the Dublin point leaders in the 83-61 win) both passed 1,000 career points during the game.

Dublin lifts medals at Hico

Dublin powerlifters traveled to Hico Thursday, Jan. 22 for the invitational meet to kick off their season with the Lady Lions placing first as a team and Lions claiming third.Leading the way for the girls’ gold were Cassidy Adair and Candy Rodriguez.

Ladies battle Millsap, Tolar

The Dublin Lady Lions fought a close battle (45-38) with Millsap Thursday, Jan. 22 following an away loss to Tolar.Adriana Stewart led the Lioness charge with 12 points against Millsap followed by Olivia Salyer with 7, Bayli Jackson with 6 and Derby Kukla with 5.

Ladies fight Early, Eastland

The Dublin Lady Lions traveled to Eastland and hosted Early last week. Although both games ended in losses, the Lady Lions put up points against their opponents.
