The Dublin Lady Lions split wins last week, starting with a 47-28 triumph over Walnut Springs.Leading the Dublin victory were Olivia Salyer and Adriana Stewart with 11 points each. Derby Kukla followed adding 8 points. Bayli Jackson put in 6 points, Regan Vanbebber had 4 points.

Lion teams take tourney trophies

The Dublin Lions varsity and JV Lions claimed wins at the Hamilton Basketball Tournament Dec. 11-13.The varsity boys went 2-2 in the consolation bracket. They defeated Crawford 69-64, before getting a close 78-85 loss to McGregor who received 2nd in tournament.

Jackets play for State Friday

Stephenville ISD is closing Friday, Dec. 19 so all fans can watch their Yellowjackets play in the state 4A-DI State Championship game against the Kilgore Bulldogs.The game kicks off at 11 a.m. in Arlington’s AT&T Stadium.

Dublin Theatre solves missing Messiah mystery

Dublin Theatre treated the community to a merry mystery Saturday, Dec. 13 as they staged ‘It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like a Mystery’ by Tracy Wells. The play tells the Christmas story as a bickering family tries to find the missing Jesus figure from their Nativity with the help of a super sleuth.
