Lions narrowly miss bronze in Bangs battle

The Dublin Lions went 1-3 in the TexasBank Holiday Classic in Brownwood, narrowly missing third place in a 58-55 loss to Bangs.“We had some really good competition with close games even though we weren’t happy with the outcome,” said head boys basketball coach Wes Grisham.

Dublin Lions fans hit the Neff gym a little earlier for an afternoon matchup between the Lions and the Peaster Greyhounds Friday, Dec. 19. Peaster claimed the win 89-67 but the home team gave them a fight.The Lions came onto the court strong and edged out Peaster in the first half shoot out 45-43.
