Lions battle Breck hold

The Dublin Lions clawed their way through a fierce home court battle against Breckenridge Friday, Jan. 9.“We had a tight game early but had a brutal 2nd Quarter on offense,” said head Dublin boys basketball coach Wes Grisham on the 58-37 loss.

Lady Cards split wins

The Lingleville Lady Cardinals split wins last week, starting with a 42-20 victory over Three Way Tuesday, Jan. 6.“It was a must win game for us if we want to make it into the playoffs, and we got it done,” said head Lingleville girls basketball coach Brandon Haught.

Lady Lions continue road to recovery

The Dublin Lady Lions battled Breckenridge and Comanche as they continued to heal several injuries in the roster.“We didn’t have all of our starters against Comanche and moved some JV up,” said head girls basketball coach Waylon Salinas of the Tuesday, Jan. 6 bout.

Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas, has announced the students achieving the Dean’s List designation for the 2025 fall semester.To be eligible for the ASU Dean’s List, full-time undergraduate students must maintain a 3.25 or better grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Lions narrowly miss bronze in Bangs battle

The Dublin Lions went 1-3 in the TexasBank Holiday Classic in Brownwood, narrowly missing third place in a 58-55 loss to Bangs.“We had some really good competition with close games even though we weren’t happy with the outcome,” said head boys basketball coach Wes Grisham.
