Dublin FFA will once again be hosting its annual Spring Plant Sale April 11-12 at the ISD greenhouse.
The event is set from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 11 and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 12.
“All money raised with the sale goes back to the FFA chapter and our activities including state convention and hopefully the National FFA convention again,” FFA instructor Sophie Hayhurst said. “There will be something for everyone with prices from $3 to $20. We ordered over 13,000 plugs! We will have multiple different varieties of flowers including geraniums, begonias, fuchsia, petunias, pansy’s vinca, impatiens, verbena, marigolds, coleus and more.”
The sale will have native plants such as lantana, salvia, sage, purple coneflower and scabiosa.
Herbs will include basil, rosemary, oregano, funnel, dill, cilantro and mint.
Veggies for sale include tomatoes, peppers, watermelon, zucchini, yellow squash, pumpkins, cucumbers and sweet corn.
There will also strawberries and hanging baskets.
