DHS lifters compete at state

Two senior Lions ended their high school powerlifting careers at state Thursday, March 21. Cameron Patton (above) placed 11th in the 132 pound weight class in Division 3 with a total lift of 1,160 pounds (440 in squat, 300 in bench and 420 in dead lift). Elijah Gonzales (below) placed 14th in the 165 with a total lift of 1,320 pounds (525 in squat, 295 in bench and 500 in dead lift).
