Lady Lion picked for national league

Incoming DHS Sophomore Haden Keilers is traveling a lot this summer as the athlete, who has played in competitive select teams in DFW, has joined the National Lady Dukes 2028 Premier Team and is playing softball across the country.

BROWNWOODGOOD.  Water slightly stained; 78 degrees; 0.56 feet above pool. Black bass to 7.47 pounds are good in 8-18 feet of water on wacky rigged Hag’s Jigs or Tornados, topwaters and spinnerbaits. Bass have finished guarding fry and have moved into an early summer pattern.

Dublin Lion power is on display as varsity football players are heading to state competition in the Lineman challenge. The event will be held at Hardin-Simmons University Saturday, June 21 at 9 a.m.

Lingleville Cardinals Cruz Alarcon and Jorge Toledo represented their school well in the state tennis tournament Thursday, May 15 at the Blossom Tennis Center in San Antonio. The doubles team qualified for state after placing second at regional competition May 8.
